Okay, Okay, I generally maintain that I don't care about the rating stars, mainly because I come on here and post quality discussions, and give thought provoking and quality responses. So, someone please explain how my rating star could drop from a 9 to a 6 in a day, yet my earnings are up?
Did I make an enemy somewhere along the line? I don't know, but if Mylot is having issues rating quality correctly, I think I may just have to take my discussions elsewhere. I've been noticing many of my mylot friends are also not spending as much time here, I may take this as a sign and move on with them.
Maybe mylot is rewarding quantity over quality these days, because I still stumble on quite a few members with high rated stars and when you look at their every 5 minute created discussions, they are nonsense and pointless.
Anyone else experience this drastic drop?

Thanks for letting me know it was a glitch. I figured I hadn't signed in since last night and I must have left a bad taste in someones mouth with something I said LOL.
Again, I wish I had a delete my post button. You would think by now mylot would have given us editing tools for our posts and the ability to delete our discussions if we need to.

I know it seems like having a delete button would be a good idea, but it would affect earnings dramatically. Every time someone deleted a post, all the earnings of everyone that responded would have to be adjusted. I think an edit button is the way to go though

I dont worry about the star if you do quality then stick to it .
If you like reading the post in here why leave makes no point , and only hursts yourself. I not sure how we get paid and for what but I love to read and respond to the ones I like or understand ha ha

I generally don't, but this was a swift and drastic drop (and it turned out to be Mylot having issues). Unlike right now my star is still a 9, but yesterday it was 9 and 94/100. And then, I made the mistake of participating in a discussion that took issue with the fact that the person created their discussion with one of them old email type chain letters that went around years ago (it was political in nature), and I just pointed out to the person that started the discussion that it was proven false back in 2001 and gave links to that evidence. No one on the thread was interested in the fact that it was false--it was actually just a disguise to get this persons buddies to come in and bash the political person that was named in the copy and pasted original text. I became the bad person and subsequently watched my rating star percentage drop to 87/100.
But you are right, I will always post responsibly, and with a quality I can be proud of. If people want to abuse the (-) they give to members by giving them to discussions and responses just because they differ from their view or take--then they show how narrow minded they really are.

There was an alert on this in which it was mentioned that there was a glitch in the rating system. The alert pointed out that it had been fixed. Anyway, we are back to our real ratings.

Ohh this made me upset as well..I think i said soemthing somewhere that uposet someone..I really dont know when or whom but i never say anyhting mean for those who know me..well i went from a 10 rating fromthe time it started till a week ago..andi always work very hard to all my discussions,,well i emailed them and i guies i wll wait and see what they say..its a big big bummer lol
