I am a resident of Louisville, Kentucky or Louavull if you are from around here and Lewisville if you are not. LOL.
This is a great place to visit with lots of history the straddling the fence and over conversative ideas. For you travelers we have two ancient bridges servicing 3 of the busiest interstates in the US. So if you are passing through at rush hour you will probably be staying awhile. Our airport is called "International" but there are no flights to any other countries that embark or depart from there (unless you are a UPS christmas package). According to our Mayor for Life we are the 16th largest city in the USA but according to the US Census Bureau we are the 256th largest metropolitan area.
All in all this is a great place to live if you can stand everyone saying "Ya'll" instead of "You Guys" like normal people in New York say.
How do you like where you live?

Ali is a huge icon in Louisville despite the fact he has not lived here in decades. Half of the town is named for him. I actually do like it here but the silliness gets to me sometimes.

I don't have all the statistics of where I live but will atempt to tell you a little about it. I live in Sacramento, CA it is centrally located. I can be at the beach in less than 2 hours, same with the snow, gambling that isn't indian gaming. We have many rivers excellant for fishing. Close to lots of great camping spots. We have lots of lakes around the closest to me is 15 minutes away. I will include a pic of Folsom Lake. We are near the gold rush area and have even tried gold panning. Our spring and falls are beautiful. Our winters can be wet, cold and foggy. Our summers can get pretty hot. All in all it's great except for the cost of living, it is very expensive compared to other areas in the US.
I'm the daughter of a military man and have lived in many places, infact when I moved to California many years ago I said "Ya'll" all the time. :) I love it here, but miss the east cost, I found people to be friendlier back there, not as friendly here.:)
Hope that gives you some what of a picture of where I'm from.

I have visited San Diego, San Fransico, Monterey and Los Angeles and I definitely like Northern and Central California better. My favorite side trip was driving the coastal highway from Monterey to Big Sur. It was the most beautiful scenery I have ever seeen.
