The best batsman of 2006 is definitely Michael Hussey in my opinion. He is very consistent in both forms of the game and his averages in both forms of the game speaks for itself. His strike rate is almost run a ball. He is a batsman who does not get out in a usual manner. Most of the times he is the last man out or run out.He risks his wicket in one dayers in the slog overs. He also leads the team to the finish line. So he is the best batsman. He is the modern DON Bradman.

Micheal Hussey may be the modern DON Bradman. But in his latest matches me clearly see that he can perform but cannot led his team to victory. In yousuf u can clearly see that he is only man to led the ship from the front that means irrespectively of the team performance he will led the team. He has made about 11 centuries in the calendar year And by far the best player in 2005-06 Being consistent in both form of the game doesnt mean that hussey is the better. becoz once we thought that hussey was the best batsman he can win matches in any suituation. This proved wrong becoz when austrailia were playing England and New Zealand it clearly indicated that he can perform but cannot led team to win.
