oh it's good to get out your pissy mode lol..i will try to be here to calm you down and offer a shoulder..even a virtual one to lean on..i know what you mean..we all have certain standards of behaviour that we live up to and when others fall short we can't sometimes help but be upset..don't worry you will get a good reward for patience at least..and you have us..don't forget to sing along with the hunky general when you are fired up and want some energy..

That annoys me,too especially when it is a business.If they forget, just be honest, Sometimes that happens. I try to write everything done si I won't forget it.

Do you know what Mahatma Buddha said about unhappiness, he said it is not the people who can make you unhappy, but it is your expectations and desires which make you unhappy in life.You are expecting people to be straightforward, which they are not so you are venting. Sorry if I am sounding like preaching but i assure you when we stop expecting from people then we are a happier person try that for a change.

now you talking, friends and family you can still forgive, but from a business point of view it is very very counterproductive, and it cost my company thousand every year.i am sitting with a huge phone bill every month, just because a@8&0^ like that don't come back to me resulting in me phoning after their a!@@** so thx for this post, so i could get this off my chest

Not been on here a while as i have been moving. This very same thing happened to me the other day the man that moved me said that he would come back the next day to fit my washing machine for me, so i waited, and waited and waited in the WHOLE day only for him not to turn up until the day after! By which time i had had enough and looked online to get tips on how to do it myself and because i was angry i acheieved it and will never need a man to help plumb a washing machine in again! as for the man he was lying because he made up some excuse that he was at the tip/waste ground all day when i know for certain they dont open on Thursdays! god that feels better now i have got that of my chest. That is so true. I will call you next week. I will write in two days. They wait a few months and they have all these annoying excuses. Then when they do contact you, they have an ulterior motive. I can see right through them.

Well, either they forgot, or they never really planned to get back to you in the first place. Either way, it might feel better to you if they would tell the truth. We tend to believe that it is not okay to say "no" or pass on something, unless we give a reason as well. It is easier for someone to say "i Will get back to you" and never do it than to be upfront in the first place.

I guess if they often do this, then you don't have to make expectations for them to be true to their words. Put in mind that maybe they are not interested to what you're up to, or whatever plans you have. You also have to consider them because they are individuals which have responsibilities to whatever actions they take, you just have to be the one to understand them and adjust to whatever their short-comings are..

yap sometimes it happens to me and they never tell the truth but some of them are for real ...i mean not all of them lie....and sometime they just do it to dont hurt yoour feelings....but they hurt them more this way:)

you rant away there nothing worse when people do that,they are just bad mannered people.the next time they want somthing from u.tell them cr*ppy excuses back to see how they like it

Hello I believe it is either one of the following two: 1) You see sometimes this happens when someone gives a promise to do something he can't deliver then he becomes 2 shy 2 say he couldn't, so he starts coming up with exuses for you to forgive him. 2) At other times he/she simply forgot (it could happen 4 many reasons either being truly busy or carelessness) but once again he wouldn't say so and instead, you'll start hearing all sorts of excuses that even don't make sense sometimes. I fully agree with you that when you forgot to do something just say so. You know i have started not take people seriously when they say i'll call u later or i'll get back 2 u asap.
