How did you find out about The Dreden Dolls?
I personally found out about them from my friend Chloe' and Topher. They were playing around on the keyboard and Topher started playing Coin-Operated Boy and I was intrigued so Chloe' played the song for me and Topher has henceforth forbid me from telling anyone he knows how to play it. Heehee.

I heard Coin Operated Boy on a local radio station, the very last time it was played before the listening audience voted it off the playlist. The fact that the musical palate of the Omaha listening area had given such a risque, multi-layered piece of art the boot was more than enough for me to latch onto the Dresden Dolls, who are now one of my favorite sources of "comfort" music.

i first heard them from the radio which only plays rock music as well as underground type of music. it was so cool, i researched who the dresden dolls were, and listened to their music thru the net.

I believe I heard of them through my online friend, Darbie. She is a huge fan of theirs. She has seen them live tons of times.
I now have seen them live. They are sooo great live. I think it was one of my favorite live sets ever.

I first heard of them in 2004 when I first heard Coin Operated Boy on an Indie band special that came on the local station where I lived in the Tuscaloosa/Birmingham, AL area. If I remember correctly this was one of the first places to really play their music on the airwaves.

I first came across them on the internet about 5 years ago when i heard Coin-Operated Boy and thought they seemed really good,so checked out a couple more songs and enjoyed them as well.I now have 3 albums and will more than happily listen to them all, which doesnt happen with some bands.
I've always wanted to learn Coin-Operated Boy on piano, ever since the first time i heard it,your friends are lucky to know how to!
