myLot system and organization

I think that for myLot to be successful... it will have to incorporate the features of a normal forum. Things that are badly missing are... 1) The lack of interaction between members because we do not get notified if someone post a comment to our answer. I have actually started in the last few days to go back to my previous answers to see if anyone had posted a comment. This is very time consumming and you are not making money while doing that. 2) I still would like to be able to edit my posts. 3) Because you get pay for quality posts only... I am finding it harder and harder to find questions to answer. Half of the questions only require a simple sentence as an answer like "What Windows version are you using?". I don't answer those. 4) The rating system is open to abuse. It should only have the "+" rating so that people cannot start punishing you because they don't agree with you. That way you would not go backward and the results would be fair. If you liked someone post... you would vote for it... and if you did not like it... you would not. It is not fair to work hard and go from 0 to 9 in three weeks... and then drop from 9 to 7 in 24 hours because a section of the community find your question offensive. It is only offensive in their eyes... because they believe in something that I don't. If they cannot deal with the question... they should move on... rather than starting a vendetta against me. Furthermore they reply in anger without understanding the question because they only read the title without reading the description. I had such a question where 90 percent of them did not understand the question.

i fully agree that myot is the best paid site for posting and responding to discussions... moreover u also find a lot of genuine friends here....

when i joined here before 5 months it was very hard to navigate in this site.but now mylot has improved a lot and it is showing a lot of care in organising the discussions.The interests category helps us to reply to posts pertaining only to our interests and also helps us to post quickly without going for a long search in the discussion pool.further the subcategories is also a feature which is very attracting.

I agree with what you have said about mylot ...I think that its a great site to find out all kinds of things.I have learned so mnay things just to help me with me everyday life... as many members as they have now I think that we might start to see many more changes yet too ... As for another site like mylot ..I am not aware of any as good ...I think that someone wil eventually make one simular to mylot and it will too become ahit just as mylot has ....
