I think there should be more open spaces. City life is very tense so having a few gardens and parks where people can just go to relax or to excercise would be very nice and also would help them to breathe some fresh air as cities tend to be congested with smoke and pollution. So Im all for more open spaces, but if there was too much open space it wouldnt be a city anymore ;)

Now the question is clear. You were asking about a city in General. It is sure that for leading a healthy life there should be more open space than buildings in a city. There should be lot of trees and plants in these open spaces too. By the way I am in India and my city is Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala, India. You might not have even heard about my city. A city of around one million population.

More open space is required for the well-being of all.I think more open space leads to amny good things. It gives good air circulation, place for children to play.

i like more open space.. i am not very much fon dof big buildings and conjested areas. i like parks and big lawns which give you sense of being alive rather then feeling of being in jail.
