Do you think human kind is becoming stupid?

einstein said that the sum of all intelligence on the planet is a constant number, but the population is constantly growing. i mean it is obvious we are not as iterested in learning new things as our predecesors were. but why do you think that is? is it because we have so much that we take for granted so we think that leaning is not important any more?
