Hi everyone,
I make invitations and other stationary and was trying to photograph them for my website, but the words come out blurry. Also, the invitations never look exactly perfect in the photos. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi there....
I would suggest using a scanner. You will get a crystal clear image that way. You can always scan on a friend's computer and save it to disk or cd to upload onto your computer. Since you are using the images for your business I definately think it is worth the extra time and effort....my only other advice would be to hire a professional photographer or at least get someone with professional equipment to take the pics for you. Hope this is helpful!

You need a high resolution. You might need to hire a photographer with a high resolution camera. Those camera are costly. There is also photoshop software you can use.

Make sure that there is enough light--very important for digital cameras--and get it as clear as you can (lack of light makes digital pics blurry). Then use a photo manipulation program to make the focus even better. It's not as good as using a scanner, but if you don't have access to a scanner or professional photographer, this may help a little. There's all kinds of free photo programs that can do this--check with www.komano.com -- she has bunches of links on her site.
