Well wars have become shorter and the memory of those gallant act have become even more short lived. But I for one believe the Heros should get their due, So I name one, Flight Lieutanant Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon, a young lad who in 1971 war shot down many pakistani planes single handedly in a Dog Fight and finally achieved martyrdom. So let see you .

no my fiend ,right now i cant recall any one.i knew few names but i just forget their names.i think this is a good topic to discuss and it shows how much we know about our country and more importantly how much we want to know about our country.its really dishearting that you got no response for this question.and you can easily find many people responding to some stupid questions but they will not respond quality discussions.i will post the names of awardee when i can recall them.
