I have type 2 diabetes there is unfortunately a genetic link in my family, I just wanted to know if anyone has tried alternative therapies to manage this disease, personaly I have tried cinnamon and turmeric and had pleasing results with both also I eat a lot of cayenne for circulation and I cook a mean chilli with lots of cayenne in it that really helps!, I just wanted to know anyone else's thoughts or experiences with these or other herbs, thank you.

Thank you so much for your quick response, I am trying so hard through diet, although I do have very naughty days where I eat junk this is usually an emotional reaction so I am getting a bit of insight, I am very interested in alternative remedies. I have to try and exercise more if I am totally honest, I find the disease makes me constantly tired, my daughter has autistic tendencies and so I have little time to devote to research, so I am very glad for any help and ideas, thank you for your positive and helpful response.

hello, violetwings! diabetes is a life threatening condition for men and women.so early precaution should be taken for its control and that too naturally.you know walking helps to fight diabetes.weight management and physical activity are the most essential treatment for type 2 diabetes.just 30 minutes of moderate physical activity such as walking is enough to ensure good health.the benefits of walking are tremendous.in addition to weight control, walking helps to control cholesterol level, slows bone loss associated with advancing age,and helps to reduce anxieties and depression.it releases enderphins-body's natural pain relievers, increases flexibility in joints, decreases pain protects heart and improves sleep quality, enhences mood and booasts energy levels.walking reduces the risk of diabetes by helping the body to use its natural anti-diabetes hormone, insulin, more efficiently and effectively.thank you.all the best.
