Does getting your tube tied have bad effects after you had the surgery?

If so what kind of bad or long term affects can someone expect?

I've not had my tubes tied myself but I know a few women who have and as far as I know they've never had any negative reactions or side effects etc etc...but like i said, I've never had it done myself....if its something you are considering you should just ask your doctor about it....
