I came home from school. I did my usual, got a packet of crisps and put on the tv. I was greeted with that absolutely terrifying image of the twin towers collapsing and people jumping out the windows. I was disgusted that humanbeings could commit such terrible acts on each other, no matter what their different views. It was shocking. Since then America and the Uk went to war in Iraq after Tony Blair, in my opinion, fibbed about Iraq having nuclear weapons. That in itself was shocking. Whether Iraq shipped out the weapons we will never know. However mass-graves were discoverd and suddenly, again in my opinion, the war in Iraq became just. Recently I have beecome aware of the conspiracey theories that shroud 911. To me the ideas conveyed in videos like 'shortchange' are terrifying. The idea that a government could inflict something like that on it's own people is uncomprehendable to me. Regardless of this, Was America and the Uk right to go to war and fight terrorism in Iraq? I would like to know what you think?
