i think i'm very poor in expressing my love to my spouse by speaking my feelings to him. whenever i want to show him my love i simply hug him. how do you express your love?

The best way is just to tell a person that you love her/him. Just be honest about it. I don't understand why saying "I love you" is so hard for some people. Why, as humans, do we have an easier time expressing how much we hate someone, than we do telling people how much we love them? I never undersetood that, and I never will.

what i used to think is that only words don't convey the message of love. your lover can read it in your eyes too. he/she can know it from your body language. but now i realize that clothing your feelings in words are important too. it seems bit artificial to me when i keep saying 'i love you' when i can express that though my eyes or my hugs. or may be, as i said, i'm really poor in expressing love.

I love to be hugged, kissed, and told that I am Loved! It's the best feeling ever! When you both watch tv get next to him and cuddle! It does not have to be all dramatic the little things are the ones that count the most. Keep it simple! :)

yeh things have to be expressed in love otherwise the other side will not be able to feel wat you are thinking. Express all you loves in words and there is nothing greater than a simple hug and touch. There is no use of keeping all the love within yourself. Express to whom to want to show. Let them know it, how much you love them.

Great...
Yours is one of the best way to express love.
There is not any particular the best way....
The best way is what a person feels the best and express and it is conveyed to other person too...

If you think you're a little poor in expressing your love to your hubby, I guess you need to work it out...there's no better relaxation a tired hubby gets when he comes home than a sweet endearment from his spouse. Yeah, tight hugs and the usual sweet nothings still serve their purpose but it's great to add some little surprises once in a while. You can make him a poem and have it printed with your picture as the background, or you can get him a gift certificate to a spa, or you can join him if he goes to the gym. You can even just cook him his favorite dish and prepare a meal with his favorite dessert around...well, that juz my thoughts... hope it's gonna work anyways. :)

your suggestions are really nice. i did try to express my love by writing lovepoems but seems like he doesn't like poems much. i'll try cooking his favorite dish.
