What sort of people annoy you the most? For me it's those who have an exagerated opinion of their own importance and abilities.
Some can do this with humour and friendship and that's acceptable. But there are others who hammer it home at every opportunity. They tell you what you should be doing and why, they constantly preen themselves and rub it in how much better they are, they are tactless and undiplomatic.
I cannot like people like this. They would possibly make some people envious but me, I just feel irked.
I notice above everything else that the majority of MyLotians are caring and friendly, courteous and curious. And this is what I love about the people here. Yes, there are a lot of sillies who do not read the guidlines...lol, but the arrogant ones...I've just read a discussion with this person telling others what they should do to be successful and saying that those who don't follow his advice and do what he says are failures. Lovely!

Like you, arrogant types definitely press my buttons. Even if I honestly thought that I was the smartest person in the world (and believe me, I'm far from that, lol!) I wouldn't want to rub it in other people's faces. I don't like making people feel bad. I would much rather make people smile, laugh, and help them to have a good time. I also have a hard time with people who get in your business and want to tell you how to run your life, and people who never ever do anything wrong. My mother falls into that last category, to some extent. She thinks that she never sets a foot wrong - if something is missing, someone else lost it. I've heard her apologize and admit guilt maybe twice in the last ten years, if that. I do love her very much, but that kind of an attitude can be very hard to deal with at times.

I agree.. so you there must agree to me cause I agree.. hehehehe LOLZ!... I want an ideal friendship here, making people happy and count all those jokes and smiles attheir face... Arrogant people are losers, lolz

yes my mate you sumed up annoying people very good , I call them "know it all people " I believe we all have our own paths to walk ,and lessons to learn , if I have a failure I just mark it up to experince and try something else , what works for one person doe not always workforthe other... forgive the arrogant ones and wish them well ,I don't wish to use my energy to worry about them or what they think I should do ...lol

Oh there are a few types that annoy me I have to say although probably more than anything rudeness annoys me and some people are just sooooooo rude! In particular the people that really annoy me are the ones that pride themselves on their bluntness or "speaking their mind" which I've found is usually just an excuse to be rude and unpleasant to others. Interestingly I've also found that this type of person is often not quite so keen on the same blunt approach being directed back at them!

People who whine and complain about a bad situation they have put themselves in and they do not do what they can to get out of it. In the words of Jedi Master Yoda, "Try not. Do or do not, there is no try." Meaning you do it or you do not. Do not just sit around and complain about it, do something about it.

My main "pet hate" in life is rude people. My Mother bought me up with the old saying "manners cost nothing", and I just cannot stand people who don't say "please, and "thank you", who won't hold a door open for you if you are just behind them, and who push, and shove you out of the way, or jump queues. I also truly hate loud, brash people, who have really loud voices, and always draw attention to themselves in bars or cubs by talking louder than anyone else.

People who are self centered just annoy me so much. They tend to hurt others because they focus only to themselves. More often than not they end up hurting others just to satisfy their own selfish desires at the expense of other people. They dont care as long as they get their heart's desire. I also dont like those noisy ones, they brag about their blahs blahs and all their me myself and I issues. Im just glad that here at mylot there is the spirit of helping one another in the light of learning more about mylot for the benefit specially for the newbies like me. I hate know alls I hate when people tell me to do this and do that I am doing it right in the first place , Years ago I went to a slimming club , I lost over 5 stone ( slowly went back on though lol , but 1 woman started and she lost 5 LBS and she was telling me what to do . I don't like hurting people and it takes a lot to get me angry so I just came home , lol I am getting angry just remembering the situation ,

Yes these kind of people annoy me the most as well as people that think that they are better than anyone else and know everything. As most of those people know nothing at all. At the bottom of your discussion do not worry about what ths member is saying as this is ridiculous and he must be the failure not other members not listening to him. Good Luck and keep away from people like this!!

Yea, those ones with their noses so high in the air you can see up their nostrils - bug me. I try not to let them bother me too much though, I know in my heart they are no better than me and chances are the truth is I'm probably better than them.
As for those "silly"s on myLot - I signed up under one of those and I really hope he's been kicked out by now because I hate the idea of him making money off my hard work when he's just telling people to ignore the guidelines and cheat...

People that annoy me the most are the type that have a go at you because you dont believe/feel the same as them. It realy annoys me when people try to shove their opinion/feelings on me, sorry i already have one of my own. I also hate it when they call me ignorant or arrogant because i have a different opinion/feeling to theirs. What makes them any different to me and why arnt they ignorant/arrogant for not sharing my view. Each to their own.

i agree with u that being a liar is the biggest sin with
an artificial mask on the face, but but but trying to
solve any matter on earth with arrogance creates or leads
to much bigger problems in relationships, so problems should always be dealt with lots of patience ,politeness only.

Hi there MsTickle, like you i do hate people who are arrogant. Someone who is overly witty to the extent of spoiling a great group conversation. I once had an officemate who tends to always blow his own horns without noticing us frowning already because of his "out of this world" discussions about his education, his achievements, his previous jobs, his family business and all those stuffs. Well, I wished I had the guts to tell him straight to his face that he better shut his mouth up for he isn't making sense anymore, but I knew I would look real rude so I just stretched out my patience and wait 'till he gets tired of talking. When he did, I took my exit and I was relieved...LOL I wish you know the amount of stress you're getting if you're stucked in a group with someone dominating the conversation and just talking nonsense. :)

I really get annoyed by people that think that they are always right and don't even take the time to listen to someone else's opinion. You know, the people that thnk, "It's my way or the highway!" I believe there are many ways to be successful in life and that there is not always one right answer to a question.

Well, frankly I find people with silly, inane giggles and smiles all over their faces to be obnoxious. They turn all pink and show those white teeth as though all they do is brush and floss, brush and floss. Then they flaunt those perfect pearly whites from ear to ear - in fact they smile so broadly you can't even see that they have ears. All you see is that goofy smile in that big pink face! Have you ever met anyone like that MsTickle?

Ur correct somewhat...but the fact is that all people cannot be alike...some are arrogant while some are quiet some of them are courteous..and various other kinds..there are people who belong to various other categories...what u need to understand such people only add flavours to ur life just as emotions add values to your life...one needs to be pretty careful and understanding and take only good points from others rather than carping others and finding faults in them...

Yes, arrogant people annoy me the most. However as far as humour is concerned it is acceptable but over arrogancy can damage friendship too.

The type of people who annoy me are bossy people. Those people who tell us what we should do, order me are the ones who I do not prefer hanging out with. I like people who are funny, good talkers, etc. But those people who think that they are really good and others are losers, who think that whatever they are doing is right and what others do is wrong etc are the ones which I do not like and they really annoy me a lot.

ohh the people who annoys me the most are the arrogant,the ones that use other people as a pattren in life in everything they do, and the one's that lie consistly.
and i mean people that do not have any basis to be proud of thereself that lie without a need and that everything they got in life is not theres but of others; but lucky for me i stumbled a few times but now i can identify them faster and avoid their "friendship"
i can truely say that i am pleased with the people that i know today and yes the mylotians are O.K. arn't they?:)
