If it is true that it isn't exact then why do the christians still believe in it.How can we believe in a thing about which we are not sure that its true.I think we should look for a book which is true.

I do have faith in God,Jesus and God's words given to Jesus(peace be upon him)in form of His book but now I am having doubt in Bible being the same book as revealed on Jesus as it contains many scientifical errors which cant be written by God when He knows everything he has created.
You should also read the above link then tell me.

No it is not the word of god. It is the word of humans. God did not write it. If he did then it would have been found here on Earth instead of written by man. I do mean written by man, I don't think any women got to help write it, I could be wrong on that one.

I do agree!a word of God can't be contradicting as Bible is .It doi contains some of the original text but most of it has been lost or altered by the Priests inorder to make people understand what they want them to know, you know brainwashing!

you have to qualify your claim first before you make such sweeping statements... if the holy bible was indeed "corrupted", when was the alleged "corruption" took place? who "corrupted" it? what particular books or verses?, since you seem to agree on that part you perceive pointing to muhammad (saw) and any close parallelisms with quranic stories.
let's see what the qur'an has to say:
Surah 6:115, "The words of thy Lord is perfect in truth and in justice; NONE can change His words."
Surah 6:34, "There is NONE that can alter the words of Allah. Already hast thou received some accounts of those messengers."
Surah 10:64, "There is no changing the words of Allah; that is the supreme triumph."
in Surah 3:3, the qur'an confirms that the Torah and Injeel are words of God...
do you believe the qur'an is true in its statement that NOBODY can change the words of God? so everytime you dig out an "error" in the Torah and the Injeel (bible) you confirm that the qur'an is WRONG and prove that the very foundation of your religion is faulty. if you think the bible is wrong because of some contradictions you have brought up, then think of the contradictions between the qur'an and your confidence in these "proof".

it is all about faith. if you believe in GOD, then you would not question his ways. no matter what science may say, a christian's faith is his cornerstone in life.
the bible is the word of GOD. it is written by man but guided by GOD. HE would not let HIS teachings be lost or be tampered upon, and if you have faith you should already know that!

Good point! "He would not let his teachings....."
Now as we find Bible its being altered and has got contradictions does it proves that the version of it present today is no more a word of God.

I've seen a lot of people make claims about the Bible being flawed and lots of stuff being lost in translation or added to...but I rarely if ever see any proof of this. A lot of people discredit the Bible authenticity without doing their homework. From what I've researched, the only differences in today's translations compared to the oldest ones we have are minor details. The basic messages haven't changed.

like any religious tract, the bible is simply the work of men who thought they should have the final say on what god would want people to do. the worst is the quran with its bigotry and violence. Every time a book is translated into a new langage, it changes, and every time a new leader takes over, the meaning changes to what the leader wants it to say. All religious books are not god's words.

What kind of violence have you seen in Quran now I can surely say you haven't read it.for your kind information not even a single dot of it has been changed since its revelation you want proof, the proof of it is that it that in what ever part of the word you get it you will find it with the same text not 1000s of versions but just 1 divided in 30 parts and 114 chapters.Don't get the translations they surely are written by several persons but get the arabic copy and try to translate it using arabic dictionary and then comment.I challange you will not find even a single thnig going against science ,logic or reasoning.Infact it has revealed many facts of life 1400 years aga that scientists have discovered recently.

Its good to have faith in something but you should verify it first if it is true or not otherwise a blind faith can lead to a disaster.

It may be written by men but it was written thorugh God's guidance. HE was the one telling what those men to write, and if they have errors while writing it, God would make them to correct it. I forgot the exaxt verse where God asked not to write something down.

I don't exactly know about bible but Quranwas revealed in a way that angel gibrael used to bring the messages from Allah and Prophet Muhammad learned it by heart in the presence of the angel since he was an unlettered person, then latter on his companions wrote it down in his presence while he rechecked it,so on chance of mistake.
