my dog has had very loose bowel movements what can i give her

I would give her rice. Also a banana if she will eat it. Mine loves banana. That should firm up her stool. If it persists past tomorrow, I would bring her to the vet.

try to keep her off food and see if it is beter tomorrow, tomorrow I would give her bioled rice and cooked chicken as this is gentle on her tummy.

It sounds to me like she has a tummy bug....you might do well to keep her off food for hours and let her tummy come good.....then return her slowly to her normal food regime. Have you recently changed the food she eats??
