Would you mind hearing from a midwife who's practiced for 30 years and delivered over approximately 358 babies all over the world? I was a US Army nurse (RN, BSN) and was stationed in Vietnam, Africa, Europe and the Middle East. My last baby was my own granddaughter in 2002 in my home. I am retired now. How do you do?

Congrats on bringing some babies into the world! I bet that was a neat experience!! So what made you decide to become a midwife? And where do you go to school for that? Is it the same as going for a nursing degree? I have always been somewhat interested in being a midwife (or something similar) but never could find any info about it. It will be a while before I get to go back to school!
