What did you do this week that was frugal?

I try to live a frugal life everyday. Then, that makes the special days that much more special. Not spending money can happen...if one just get in the happen of only buying what is really needed. I serve left overs for just myself and for guests. I also serve fancy meals just for myself sometimes. I try to deposit savings at the end of the month....on top of what I regularly allocate to savings. I used to always buy a coke or iced tea at McDonalds. I just stopped. I also bought different newspapers...found that I don't read all of them regularly so I have cut down on that. I used to buy the books I read. Now, I generally visit the library, and only purchase a book I really want to keep reading over and over, or to give to someone.

Everyday so far - except last night for gas Everyday so far That only happens on payday and no coupons, because I have not spent anything. Also gas prices were too high, so I only put in a 1/3 tank yesterday
