wat do u prefer-- Glasses or Lens??????

ya my dear friend i am on ur side in this rgard as glasses add more elan to your personality than lensesand there are no second thought about it

I would prefer glasses.As you require a lot of patience and care when wearing lenses.Another disadvantage about lenses is that it can be kept on only for certain number of hours.Another reason i could point out is that while traveling on a bike there are chances for anything to hit your eye thus causing severe irritation and unnecessary complication with the delicate organ.

I prefer contacts. I have very bad eyesight and my glasses are kinda thick even with the new lenses they put in them now days. I wear my glasses in the evening to give my eyes time to breathe and while I'm home on the weekends.

i wear glasses. i have never tried lenses. one of my friends uses a pair of contact lense. but i wonder how can he tolerate these in a sensitive organ like the eye.

Both my sister and brother in law are doctors, eye specialists to be precise, so I have access to a lot of eye related information. Contact lenses are perfectly safe and comfortable, but one needs to be very disciplined about the usage and storage of lenses. One needs to take off the lens before bathing, sleeping etc and must only touch them with perfectly clean hands, which means a lot of hand washing. They also need to be rinsed in protein removing solutions and stored in their cases, which again need to be kept perfectly clean. The lens solution is another thing. One cannot substitute it with water, so on constantly needs to remember to be stocked with it. Wanting to go to bed only to realize that you have run out of lens solution is an annoying experience! I have both lens and glasses and use them alternately, but I like the ease of my glasses anyday! Just slip them on and off and if they turn cloudy or grimy, just wipe them with a hanky!
