mylot ratings are really bad

Previously I made a post about why my ratings are not shown and I discovered that we needed at least 100 posts to view our ratings. Now after posting sincerely for hours and after reaching 100 posts I found out that my ratings were really poor. Its only a 4 right now and I am really depressed. I work so hard on posting messages in mylot and my posts are not one liners. I read the topic properly and post back my sincere reply.
So I was wondering why my ratings are so bad? What can I do to increase my rating?
I will do anything and work really hard if there is a way to increase my rating.

Welcome to the world of myLot mystery. You will never get a straight answer as everything is shrouded in secrecy. I have neen trying for hours to get a response from myLot regarding posting photos. They have responded twice only to finally tell me they do not divulge why they do anything

Yes mylot is a lot of mystery. We never know a lot of things over here but I bet that it is necessary to maintain such secracy in a site like mylot. Otherwise members might start bashing at each other if they know who gave them negative ratings.

rating depends on how other rate you ,and remember that some members do not rate at all

Yes there must be members who do not rate at all but there is no possible way to find out who they are. But will the non-rating members have any impact on our ratings? Will no ratings increase or decrease our rating? or does it not effect our ratings at all?

I hope you're feeling better now. Whatever you were doing it was obviously right because look at your ratings now. Congratulations!
Also, when you originally posted, Mylot was going through some changes and clean-ups. Everything is now good!

Do not feel bad about yourself because its not your fault your rating is low. Personally, I ignore the rating and dont care about it. I bet you its low because not alot of people give ratings so its not exactly a reason to get angry. It means nothing to anybody, its not like somebody will see yourr rating and say" ewww, low rating, lets check the next one". Its no big deal really.
