power that Jesus had availible today? The bible says that Jesus gave us the Holy Spirit to empower us to do the things that He has done and greater things than He had done. What is your opinion on this matter? I believe the Holy Spirit is a person. He is the 3rd person of the God Head- The Fahter , Son, Holy Spirit. I believe He is here on earth now to give us what we need to live a victorious life here on the earth. I also believe the Holy Spirit draws people to Jesus. What are your veiws and why?

I don't believe that the holy spirit is a person but a spirit, a feeling, an understanding, a part of the trinity the spirit of God that dwells with in us. The orthodox christian church and the roman catholic church split on this issue. The orthodox church says the holy spirit is the church itself.

Yes, we can do greater things than He has done and are we not doing it now? We are using the internet to preach the word of God and to reach people whom we do not know and do not even see. There are many things we are doing greater than what the Lord has done except of course His laying of His blood for our salvation.

I also believe in, The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; three-in-one; it cannot be physically proved but we're told to take it on faith alone. Matthew 17: 19-21 talks about how the disciples could not cast a demon from a person and they ask The Lord why they weren't able to... He tells them that it's because of their unbelief; for, if they had faith as a mustard seed, they would be able to say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' etc. He also says that they wouldn't be able to do things like that without prayer and fasting.

I firmly agree with all you say. And the bible tells us that God gave us, believers, the Holy Spirit as a helpmate I believe the word was. The Holy Spirit is within each and every person who has accepted Christ as our Savior. I believe that it's the Holy Spirit that tells us to check on our children in the middle of the night (there is something wrong that needs our attention) or the Holy Spirit that tells us to take a different airplane when we find out later there was a crash or problem.
