is it possible to have a best friend that is from afar?i have a best friend in college but since we have our own families and we live from different place,we seldom see each other.i miss hanging out with her and hearing all her stories. good thing we have text messaging, it makes me feel close to her.how about you,do you have one?why did you chose him to be your best bud?as for me,it just happened.the firstday of our class,she was the one whom i fisrt talk with,then webecame friends,then i told her to be my dorm mate then everything just followed and we just click!how about sharing your best bud stories ever!

Yes its kinda hard having a friend from different country but i dont think distance can hinder us to create friendship. Actually i have some friends whom i only meet online and its amazing that we have kept that friendship for 5years. Imagine our only communication is through emails and airmail and during Christmas were sending packages as our Christmas present.

i used to have a best friend when i was a kid but growing up, you realize that you only considered someone as a best friend when you're a child simply because you play with each other all the time.
but now, sadly, i do not have any best friends, i have a lot of close friends though

i had this neighbor of mine that i considered my best buddy,we also went to the same school,there was this horrible gossip monger who tried all herefforts to break us apart.that really affected us badly but we patched things up but somehow we realizedthat we had different interests so we tried making friends with others. we were childhood friends.despite our diffrences,we still updateeach other.

well, i still am friends with my former best friend but not to the extent that i consider him a best friend. its really hard to find a best friend, you really have to put a lot of effort into it.

Not sure about long distance, I think it does for some people. My best friend is down the road from me. We met on the job and did not get along at all. It is amazing that over time since though we didn't fight and were on our best behavior, we became friends and now best friends. We can go a week now that we don't work together and still talk on the phone like it is the next day. She think of us at holidays and such and we do for them what we can too. We look forward to heading out to church rummage sales and stuff this summer.

i understand if you don't getalong atall times.some says opposites attracts,i had this before withmy friend andastime goes by,we getto enjoy what she wants and what i want.it is a matter of giving and sharing.

Hi. I never had a best friend through my school years or in my childhood. I thought I did but they weren't friends at all. I didn't ever have a best friends until I met the man of my dreams of which I am now married to. We do everything together. We both like to do the same things and I wish we could have met when I was alot younger so we could have done some fun things back then together. We love just being together and talking.

it is niceto treat you husband as your bestfriend,it would make your relationship even stronger.it would be easy to share stories when you have this kind of relationship.because my bestfriends is far from wherei live,it reat him as my best bud too,we could goof around and have some fun,i could just be my naturalself,no pretensions.

I have a friend also from other place but i dont think distance can stop us building friendship to others. I have my friend who live miles away from me but our friendship last for 5years and we still having fun exchanging emails ang other stuff especially during christmas...Its exciting!
