The Player Moderator crown is a highly sought after reward, but it takes hard work and patience. Player Moderators(Pmods), can be considered "officers" of the game. They are regular players hand-picked by Jagex staff. A few ways to increase you chances of being picked are: 1-Reporting when necessary and having accurate reports. 2-Following all of the Jagex rules, and not advertising that they should be broken. 3- Acting in a mature manner and setting good examples. 4-Having a decent knowledge of the game and rules. 5-Helping other people. 6-Behaving well on the ingame forums. There is an article in the knowledge base that may answer a lot of questions. If you have any questions, I woul be happy to answer them here.

I'm not trying to start an argument, mate. Yeah, I agree that macros are a terrible problem, I report them whenever I see them, and I occasionally go on macro hunts with my sister. And I don't really report petty swearing, only the extremely extensive stuff, which fortunately doesn't happen too often. ;)

oh really now? i just wanna tell you that you're letting millions of macros get away all the time. i see at least 5 each time when im cutting yews or 10 running from draynor to karmaja when fishing. instead, you ban the non harmless people for swearing who arent making the game bad.

Well, you don't have to be a member to become a player moderator. Doesn't depend on level, either. ;) Thanks for the feedback.

Jagex don't give out Mod Status just to random people on the street. If you become a mod, then you'll know You've done something that helped Jagex Immensely. Reporting Macroers here and there...sure that helps. But if thats the cause, then everyone who Fish, Mine, or WC would be MOD o.O. Being MOD is a great thing, so don't expect it to just come. -Andy

Sorry if I am wrong as to how I read your lines. I thought that the player moderator you are talking about is connected with the mylot clientele. It appears to me that it is not. If indeed, it is not, no need for an answer because definitely, I have no knowledge about it anyway.

No problem! There's way more information in the runescape knowledge base, so that should be even more helpful. By the way, you don't have to be a member to be a player moderator. :)

You could explain certain examples on what you can do in some situations. The content is a bit brief, could do with some retouching. Overall, I believe it is a good start. -Andy
