I think they should make Star Wars episodes 7 8 &9

I think the saga should remain left alone. Of course, I think that episodes 1 - 3 never should have been made in the first place. Lucas fell prey to the Shiny Effects Syndrome and made movies that revolved around what he could do with a big budget, not what story he could tell. I was very let down with the prequels. There was a good story in there somewhere, buried beneath the flashy effects and the poorly delivered one liners and the wooden acting. But Lucas just didn't pull it off. There was no sense of a story, no depth, no substance. I don't think anything should be made just for the money.

wow!! i dint even know there was supposed to be a star wars 7 8 and 9 and i call myself a fan!!! well dont u think lucas wud make them ever? we dont need the old actors for ir right? new ones wud do!

because most people know the story and thre are already enough of the movies, the chances of the gross earnings from the movie not making as much as the original or even the prequil ones are very high. from my understanding there were continuation books which i think are much better because they can have more details and information and they're not limited by time and of course money for props and other CG effects. my mother read the books when they frist came out, she's a huge fan. and it was a nice continuation of the story, Hans Solo and Lea got together and had twins and Luke restarted the Jedi's again...stuff like that doesn't need to be shown in the movies. it wouldn't be worth the money, and anybody other then George Lucas doing a star wars thing would just be insulting and i'm sure people would be very upset about it. i mean, he even had a hand in the animated series.

It's called Star Wars: Expanded Universe. There are books, comics, etc. Just enter a search for this, or look it up through Wikipedia. Han and Leia are married, with 3 kids. The New Republic faces a Grand Admiral who is a brilliant military genius, capable of predicting virtually every move his opponents. Not because he can use the force, but because he understands people, culture, and politics. Luke goes on a journey to start The New Jedi Order, but before that, he falls to the Dark Side. If you really love Star Wars, I highly reccommend looking into these books; your library carries many of these!
