How did your husband propose marriage to you?

Please share your experiences here. I love reading about proposals. I hope someday it happens to me too. I heard my ex rented a limo for his girlfriend who is his wife now and they drove to Lake Tahoe and it was a full moon. He was such a great catch it's a shame to only hear about the whole deal.

it was almost 47years ago, we were at the cinema , it was a dean martin jery lewis comedy i can even remember thee scene , hubby turned to me and ask would you like to marry me ,he must have thought it was going to be a fun marriage or maybe he liked my laugh , anyway we have had a brilliant married 46 years this yeaer xx

We met in March of the year and sometime during the summer or early fall we were talking and together we just decided to get married since we were together almost all the time anyway. Being bowlers at the time and he was a house bowler we got married on the concourse and had the reception in the meeting room. That was November of that year. We have now been married for 23 years.
Be happy for the ex, since he is an ex for a reason!!
