Let me tell you my predicament:
1. I am a high school student who works part time at Buffalo Wild Wings(a restaurant-EVERYTHING is fried) and i make $8.00 an hour. Pretty good for a student, right?
2. This summer, one of the teachers at my high school is planning a trip to go to London and Paris. I am planning on going, which means i have to save my money-big time ($2500). I know my parents will help me out, but I want to try to pay for most of it. It's a once in a lifetime experience, and I can't wait to go.
So let's see.......I have no money to buy a membership to a gym or to buy work out equipment, etc. because I am saving up for my trip, I work at a fast food place, and dont have much time to work out between school and work.
I have no resources. I need some suggestions. I want to look good for the summer and for my trip. Should I just do plain old sit ups?
My target areas are my thighs, stomach, hips and love handles. Do you know of any home workouts that worked...fast and efficiently? Or of any diets that didn't leave you starving?
This is a plea! Help me!

Admit it that your weight is a problem. But first thing first. Do it in a healthy way. One thing important is, don't get too emotional over the fact that you won't be eating your favorite chicken, chips or other sweet delicious meals. DON'T DRINK COFFEE WHEN YOUR IN A DIET! Exercise is very important. Focus and control yourself. Think of after and the results. See yourself after working on to lose a bit of your weight. Don't exceed. Do lose weight but just enough. Eat enough carbo and vegetables. Drink a lot of water. And lastly, not eating is not diet. Understand?

O yea i understand, i would never try to lose weight the unhealthy way. I have personally seen the tolls it takes on people, and there is no way I could do that to myself.
Very good tips by the way, thank you.

I lost 30 lbs last fall by exercising and using this free weight loss website called www.sparkpeople.com and logging all the food I ate. It calculates all your calories and fat and carbs and stuff and tells you, based on your personal information, how much you should be eating to get to your goal weight. It has lots of great tips and advice and you can even chat with other members. It's a great site and totally FREE!
Good luck!
