When I was little I had Shirley Temple curls. Then my mom cut my hair, now it won't even hold a perm. The sun can lighten your hair color. My youngest has beautiful hair, it's a very light shade of brown with blonde highlights. I tell her people pay good money to have her hair, lol. You know your kid has Shirley Temple curls when you can pull a curl and it pops right back into place. I seen movie clips of her on tv, she would wear the baby doll dresses. She could sing and act. One line I remember is Good Ship Lollipop. Don't cut her hair yourself, it could cause her to lose her curls. It happened to me when my mom cut mine.

Hahhahaha Shirley Temole is well before your Time Girl, she was a famous and lovely Girl Actor. I have not seen any Films hers in years but she was lovely so take it as a Compliment. As for changing Hair Colour well that happens, Love, My Son was born with Blonde Hair and now he is brown Haired. The only one that kept her Colour Hair was my Daughter and she used to have lovely Curls until she decide to cut her lovely long Curls of at the age of 3 I cried lol as she cut as far up as she could. It grew back straight.

Shirly temple is an actress who played a child in alot of movies. I loved watching them when i was a child. About your daughter's hair, yes it does seem that our bodies do strange things don't it? my daughter was born with a head full of black hair, and i have blonde hair that's curly. When she was about a year old her hair had turned blonde, and was really curly at the ends. I guess that's just want happens to children, but it does seem alittle confussing to me. lol

Your hair always grows in differently. Your daughters hair color has nothing to do with you dieing your hair. Most people don't have the same hair color they were born with, nor the way it looks-straight or curly ect. Also many people that I know had strait hair when the were younger and now that they are getting older it is getting more wavey and curly. Shirly Temple is an adourable child actress; and I highly recommend renting one of they Shirly Temple films, they are absolutly adourable! (She too had curly, blondish hair)

Shirley Temple was a child actress, I'm not sure when but she had tons of movies out, she was a doll! My son was born with dark straight hair, and now he's a blondie with waves. I asked my mom and she said I did the same thing as a baby, but my hair went back to dark after a few years. My best friend was born with red curly hair and now she has dark hair like me, so who knows why these things happen, genetics are weird!

One of my friends was born with real blond hair. As he got into his teens it started to turn dark, till finally when he reached 18 it was totally black. I have no idea why these things happen. I too was born with blond hair that is now a mousy brown color. I hate it so I dye it anyway lol.

Usually after first hair cut the type of hairs undergo a sea change in some children, may be that must have happened with your daughter. Well I am sorry I do not know who is shirly temple.

My mum was born with platinum blonde curls but now her hair is brown. It seems to run in her side of the family -they are born blonde - and around half of them get darker with age whereas the rest stay blonde. I also had straight hair as a child but when I hit 12 it went all wavy. SAhirley Temple was a very famous child actress with curly blonde hair and very cute dimples!

Most babies are actually born with straight black hair if they have hair at all. When they get older, they get the hair that they will have throughout their lives (unless they change it themselves).

I think that its pretty common though, almost everybody i know but me have a differnt hair color and type than when they were little kids. My gilfriend has very different hair now. shirley temple was a very percoscious little girl that was very popular in the 50's.

LOL! Shirley Temple :) Yeah, she was that cute actress! Hmm...maybe it has something to do with your husband's traits? I'm not sure how to answer this question or if I really even have an answer, but that's my opinion :)
