Studying With Music

I often study with rock music, but the softer versions of course. Sometimes pop music helps me in studying. Most people prefer classical music while studying, but in most cases, I simply forget most of what I've read because I get distracted from the classical music, although I have no grudge on this type of music since I am a piano player. So what type of music do you usually listen to whenever you read or study for a test, exam, or quiz??
