our houses are full of them especially in the attic or even in corners...we are turn off of them coz its ugly to look and your house looks dirty on it..im jsut curious inspite of this does spiders have some uses or usefullness in the house ..can you think of one???

I hate spiders! There are a few things you can do to kill them but not many. Spary your baseboards with white vinegar and water mixed, it smells terrible but it kills the spiders. Also, put moth balls in the corner of your window sills. Do not let the moth balls be on the floor in case you have children or animals. Neither of these remedies smell good but they do work. And yes spiders do have a usefulness, they eat the dust mites you leave behind on your sheets which helps with allergies, they eat house flies which carry many diseases, and they eat some beetles. This doesn't make me like them any more though.

I never kill any of our spiders but if they are the big ones I catch them and put them outside, at least then they get more exercise by having to find their way back in ha!! I guess the only usefulness they have is catching flying insects in their webs??!!?
