Vacation ideas

Me and my boyfriend are planning on going south in a couple months, after we get our passports of course.
Any suggestions on nice locations, good service, hotels, etc?? We are coming from Canada, in case it makes a difference.

How far south and which coast of canada are you coming from? If your on the east coast, come to Charleston SC. The springtime brings the flowers in bloom and we have some old southern plantations where the gardens are great. And the beaches are nice too with a very historic ans active downtown where you can take horse drawn carriage rides.
Or there is plenty to do in florida with Disney World and the beaches there too.
If you are on the west coast, consider Monteray or San Fransisco in California. Both beautiful places to visit. In San Fran there's fisherman's warf and the Ghiredelli Chocolate Factory. Ok, perhaps very bias on that since i love chocolate.
Or perhaps San Antonia Texas. They have a beautiful River walk with lots of shops and restaurants.
