I just went out and got one of those refill kits since my ink is Dell and it would take too long to get here. I did everything to a tee and now my black ink will not print and my color ink is leaking. Any suggestions??? Thanks guys I really need your help on this one!

First of all the leaking problem, it is because you may have over topped the ink, you should respect a limit in refilling, you can suck some of the ink back.
Secondly you should enter the ink properties, or maintenance window, and change the configuration from new ink to used/old one.
This should work, if not may be you need a brand new ink.
Wished I helped you.

I had the same problem with my Dell printer. I ran out of ink and used a cartridge that specifically said that it was compatible with my Dell all-in-one printer. The cartridge looked like the exact same thing as the Dell cartridge, but it just wouldn't print. As soon as the Dell ink came, it worked perfectly. I really think that no matter what they say, you can only use Dell cartridges with their printers. I now order 3 at a time so that I have spares on hand.

are you sure you didn't put it in wrong, or upside down. Check to make sure that is it snapped in all the way. Outside of that, hopefully someone else will be able to help you.
