discussions with no answers or replies received

i posted a discussion yesterday which i think will get some answers but until now, nobody gave an idea to it. i feel sad regarding this. now, can i ask if what topics usually interest mylot members... under what categories do you usually get the most number of replies? or does this also have to do with timing as to what time you should post discussions? please help.

This has happened to me a few times also it is very disappointing I agree. I think it may be timing that is why myself I will go back to those discussions with no responses and leave a comment to try to bring them back to life. Some are not worthy nut there is a lot of them that are .

that's what i'm trying to do now. instead of answering to hot topics, i try to check on discussions with no reply and try to answer the questions that i can relate to. thanks :)

Same here, if i do new discussions but theres nobody wanted to reply, i must think, is my discussion not that interesting.. But thank God, all of the discussions i made, there are replies coming everyday.. Maybe, i made a discussions that give interest to mylotters.. I'm always thinking of discussions that related to our daily lives. Like being a mom, a lover, daily tasks, etc.. I dont make discussions that i think it will make the members become bored and not interested..

I also started some discussions which were largely unnoticed for a while. But sometimes, after a few days, they get 1 or 2 responses. I also got discouraged at the beginning, but sometimes, it's all a matter of timing. Hmmm, check out the hot topics so you'll know what interests the majority of myloteers. But for now, just enjoy the ride!

i have a couple of them lying around (and gathering dust!). i think i opened those topics during my first week, when i was more or less groping in the dark. i expect it won't be the last time. i seem to have better luck in reading/books nad related topics because a lot of myLot members are really into reading
