Pet lovers, do you treat your pets like members of the family?

Our animals are so much a part of our family that my 8yr. daughter will tell ppl she has 2 brothers and a sister when they ask if she has any siblings. Her brothers are a black lab/pit mix and a DLH cat, her sister is a DLH cat. They sleep and watch tv with us. My one son is a dishwasher b4 I wash them. My one son even helps me sort the clothes for laundry and then lays down and falls asleep on them. lol They all tend to end up eating some of what we eat. Just can't resist the "look" from the lab mix or the paws from the 2 cats.

Yes, they are like my two baby brothers.They are so close to my Mom that wheneve she goes out even for a short while one of my dog cries.He's the Mama's boy in our family.

Of course....my dogs are my children. I cant sleep unless my dogs sleep with me. We eat at the same time. When I am watching tv....so are my dogs. It seems like they can't live without me, but I can't live without them either.

I'd think yes... hehehhe!!! We offer our dog some food my mom use to buy only for our dog, my mom even cook for our dog... Hehehe!! I say that our dogs is like our family...

I've a labrador at home, and her name is coffee. For the time I've had her, I never treat her as a pet but a friend instead, we eat together (though she eats ALPO), go to sleep together and watch basketball games too.

I have 7 cats they get treated better then family members or should I say they get away with more. How would you like to wake up with 7 cats in your bed, this is common in my house.

I have 4 dogs. 2 sleep with me and one sleeps with my son the other sleeps with my daughter. They are our family. We treat them as family. They eat mostly with us too.

Yes our mutt is our baby also. We call her our dogter. She sleeps in the bed with us and is allowed on all of the furniture. She rides in the car with us if we have to go to the store or to go run errands. I bathe her in the bathtub rather that outside(it is too cold). We also let her lick our plates clean. We love hr sooo much.

Our Toy poodle is our little baby,spoiled rotten. My mother makes her doggie coats every year. She goes everywhere with us. She gets presents at Christmas and we celebrate her birthday. Sounds crazy but it is fun for us.

We love our dachshund. He pretty much lays on our laps all of the time, either on the couch or recliner. He even has his own pillow. He also sleeps in our bed, he has since we got him. We don't take showers together, though.. he hates getting baths. He is pretty much our first baby..

I do and I don't. I love my beagle/basset mix, he is adorable. But he's still an animal to me with an animal behavior. I love on him, talk to him in a specialvoice, give him treats, take care of him, sometimes even sleep with him but he's not on the same level as my siblings or parents:)
