well see i can say you choose according to your ineterst ! see if you are planning to start with c and c++ its good ! because they are the basic language from which all other languages (mostly) are derived ! so learn it and have practice or can say command over it ! dont take it as just you have to finish it ! and yeah then mover forward either in java or .NET ! then also see as per your case !

I would say the best programming language is if u are on the Mac u can try Xcode it is quite intersting and easy to program with but basically it is based on C. or u could try Java, java is best for beginers who want to learn advance programming, it is free to install and easy to run and use, lots of free tutorials on the net, and it take cares of lots of for u , in C u have to do lots of stuff yourself. I want to learn HTML. That will make design a lot easier.

language c & c++ is much difficult to me. i just know a little about it. Now i am learning Powerbuilder, i want to do something nice and useful about database. i want to throughly understand about the powerbuilder and sqlserver2000 as soon as possible.
