Madgascar or Republic of Madagascar is an island nation in the Indian ocean, off the southeastern coast of Africa..
Do any body think there is some relation between the movie Madagascar and this island nation??

Yeah, Madagascar is a real place.. In the movie I think the animals found that place on the map and decided to go there..Yeah, its related.. They wanted to be shipped there.

Yes i was aware of that. I got a kigsaw puzzle of the globe and the island pieces were so small that i couldnt find it because it was all yellow and tiny. There could be a connection i suppose. Maybe they were trying to compare life in america to life in smaller less well known countries like Madagascar. Why dont you contact the writers and ask them or read the reviews. I think you can research things like that. I know i did for donnie darko
