What do I do? THis is the second one I found on him in the past month. I never had this problem before. So let me know if there is anything else I can do besides Frontline. That junk does not work on fleas either. It is nasty and I dont want him to get too sick.

Theres nothing that can really prevent them from getting ticks you just have to keep checking your dog and pull them off if you see one.

Yuck! I hate doing that it takes his skin off too so he ends up with a huge dot of blood! Man and I thought that there would be something more Ican do. Poop

I had to do that when I worked and my dogs were stuck outside all day but now that I'm retired my dog is indoors with me most of the time and I've only found one nymph on her this whole year.

First a warm salt water bath for the fleas heavy on the salt will kill fleas but if he is outside much this must be done twice a week. As for the ticks a heavy concentration of eucalyptus oil heavy enough to saturate skin will handle ticks
