I have been taking wellbutrin for a year, and I have gained weight! I was told that this drug would perhaps help in taking off the pounds I gained on Prozac. I just recently switched from the extended release version to the 3 times a day version. A friend of mine lost 30 pounds when she first began taking wellbutrin! Please let me know your experiences and any advice you may have!

Like yourself,I take the one-a-day Welbutrin for quite awhile now(as long as 6 years now,I think) and I did notice I gained weight.Combined with my other meds,I figure I gained over 40 lbs.
Since I found out I had diabetis,I made many changes in my diet and in the last 6 months,I have lost 35 lbs.I realized that just watching the amount of food I intake I could control my weight alot more .I am not on a diet(I still eat most of what I use to),but in moderation.
