How do you know what is right and what is wrong? There are so many interpretations of the one and only truth, millions of which claim identical words as their inspiration, how do you know what is right for you?
You have look at your values, Is this something you would want to proclaim on a street corner? Or would you feel that surely you be exposed as a bad person? If an action can pass that test, it most likely is not wrong... and it might even be right.

"Reality is merely an illusion, albeit very consistent one"
- Albert Einstein
Truth in this world is always Comparative... what i mean is you are true untill you dont get caught as a liar...!!!
There is no Standard defination to right or wrong... as you said there are so many intrepretations,,, it depends on an individual how he feels and how wants to act...
We do not follow our holy books all the time... they say whatever written there is right... but yet we dont and the reason is that we want to try ALL THOSE INTREPRETATIONS... in reality and then fail or succeed.. we just want to try it out...
Entirety of any work's righteousness depends on its objective itself.. apart from several other factors like a way to reach that objective or decision, or courage required to act on for that objective...etc
No one can proclaim it at a street corner ... its rather important to connect all those good or bad interim periods of life to make it purposefull and a meaningfull life.

the meaning of Right and wrong is subjective. What is Right for some people could be Wrong for others. But I believe that Right and Wrong should be judged accordingly with the actions moral and ethical value.
