Using worm casting in soil mix

Usually worm casting is used as an additive. Recomendations vary wildly. But it is recomended to use 1/10 to 1/5 in any organic mix (10-20%)
Top dressing with worm casting would work well, too. Especially with indoor containers.
Using worm casting as a growing medium works well, too. But usually raw worm casting tends to be soggy (mud-like) and needs to be aerated (lighten the texture with soil conditioner, such as perlite or expanded clay) with 50% worm casting and 50% soil conditioner.
