have you been scammed in ebay?

I think it's a simple case of buyer-Beware. Recently my Husband and I tried to buy a large piece of equipment from someone claiming to be a member of E-Bay. If you follow E-Bay's rules it works out for everyone; however , the individual we were trying to purchase the equipment from...kept trying to re-direct us to his personal account off of E-Bay. As you well know....when going through E-Bay....E-bay provides insurance for any items it has , in order to insure a safe transaction on Both sides. So...Basically...if you are not receiving your information from E-bay staff....then Buyer Beware!

i've visited their site for several times hoping that i can avail a low price of cellphone, but im not a risk taker, im scared that they might take my money and i wont get what i ordered in good condition. however, my cousin availed a cellphone from them, good thing, what was written on the description is true.
