My sister came over the other day and while she was here she wanted a relatives number, well I went to get my trusty old address book and she couldnt believe I still had the same one from like 8 years ago lol. Apparantly she has an electric organiser or something like that and thinks its time for me to update and upgrade, and Im behind the times! Now call me what you will but I have to say I love my old tattered trusty address book and yes it has been with me a long time and is filled with memories. I also dont see the problem with me having to scribble out and re enter new addresses, it gives it character lol. Nope, Im not updateing or upgrading, or getting with the times any time soon if it meens giving up my beloved address book;). Do you have an old address book or have you moved up in the world too lol, let me know your thoughts!

I still have a physical address book. I also have some addresses online. I too do not upgrade just because it is there. Any technology has to add to my life and not take away. I still don't have a cell phone. I guess you and I will have our memories and methods while everyone else dashes into the future.

I have a couple of address books. I do keep addresses on the computer. But that is not always handy. well, I can't take it with me! At least with the old style books you don't have to worry about batteries.

I have to admit, I have upgraded to a certain point in the world.
My cell phone acts as my phone book. And email details act as the storage for home addresses. But I still use my trusty old calendar.
I do not have a Palm thingy to keep track of my appointments, dates to remember, and such. I can't do that. I have to have a calendar that I can see the whole month on the wall. My partner once got a day planner. Ummm...no, I do not want to plan out what I will be doing every hour of the day...I just want a calendar to remind me of the things that I have to get done with that day or have scheduled an appointment.
So, I see you point about the address book.
It is an old faithful for us. You the address book and me the calendar. :)

Oh yes Im the same with the calender also. I need to be able to see what is coming up and have it written on the calender as my memory is like a sieve lol. Thanks for sharing :)

My address book isn't just tattered but she's really falling apart :(, but like yours she's full of memories too but I have to replace it soon as pages are starting to fall out and some have already been taped back in. So the next one will be extra strong and durable as I want it to last for years and years.
