If you decided to write a book, what would it be about?

For me, it would be a mystery. In it would be quite a bit of true details from my own life and some fiction. I live near several unusual people. Some of them unusual in a good way and some just add a bit of spice. The more people I meet, the more I like myself. lol It is true. Older people add so much to life to make it interesting. Neighbors always have a story. The brother of my one neigbor is going to be on "Wife Swap" Feb.26. I have a friend who has a relative who knew the last bachelor on "The Bachelor"...I could go on, but I think I will just write the book :)

I would write a mystery also. In fact I'm playing around with two of them now. One is about a young woman that finds herself a widow at twenty-five. I'm writing it from her point of view. Besides dealing with the grief, she's trying to figure out who would murder her husband. It's great to have so many charcters in your life. :) I have to invent most of mine. Have you started writing your mystery? Or do you have one in mind?

When you think of yourself writing this, do you envision yourself writing it as a particular famous mystery writer or famous sleuth on TV?

No. Television writing is so much different than novel writing that I really don't relate the two when I write. I've done a lot of studing on the craft of writing. Sometimes during the day while I'm doing the mundane stuff of my job, I sort of daydream about the characters and plot. The hard part is setting my bottom down and actually putting it on paper.

if i will write a book i will be writing about being a parent. i have four kids and i will share all my experiences and sacrifices. laughters and tears. every triats and every character they have and how it differs from the other. well i know its kinda boring than mystery and sci-fi but i can level this book as a love story... but not as a boy-girl relationship but a mother to child love.

I think the only book I will be able to write about is about my life story. I say my stories so well to friends, I might as well read it and let them buy a copy LOL. I'm not a talented writer and since I've experienced alot, I will write about my life.

You may need the help of a ghost writer, but remember me when, as they say! I have friends who are nurses and they have the best stories!

If you need to, you can get a ghost writer. However, I think the ethnic way of speaking is nice. It adds to it! Be you!

In my case I've already decided to write a book. However, after I've made that decision nothing has happened yet. I have a very clear picture of what this book is going to be about. I don't want to actually admit but, yes its going to be quite romantic (yeesh) but the romance between the protagonists is not going to be the focal point of the story. See the way I write... that's the reason why this book is never going to see print. But I can assure you, the story is really great. lol

it would be inspirational, a lot of people these days are looking for anything that would help them atleast to lessen the burdens of daily living.

How would you accomplish that? How will you lessen the burdens? Tell me.

I would write a book with a large amount of characters whose lives entwine together in unusual ways...but really I think the art form of books and novels ect. is dying and it may be in an authors best interest to look into learnign screenplay writing..

Why do you think the art form of books and novels are dying? Look at B&N and Amazon.com, etc. People love big bookstores.

I've already written one, it's not out in stores yet, 'cause frustratingly I've self published so I have to work with the pieces and make them perfect before they can be distributed..which is hell lol. Anyway, my book's a science fiction/fantasy/supernatural thriller..it's complicated to say what it's about, but to put it simply its about a centeral character, Gabriel, who happens to be a vampire given the role to protect one of the worlds of my series, heh. It's very angsty, 'cause he has to go up against his maker who he loves (despite how his maker's inevitably evil), rival vampires his maker made, plus the whole world seems to be basically against him.. while even worse trouble looms on the horizen. It's not essentially focused around my vampires, it introduces alot of the other main characters, races, types of people who'll be seen and have much larger roles in future books. Ah well..I could chatter on and explain my own frustration on the subject even more, but I think I've said enough :)

That is pretty deep stuff. Do you have to put yourself in a special mood to write it?

If I wrote a book it would be an inspirational story book. I had a very hard childhood and struck out many times in the romance department. Then on top of all of that I was diagnosed with a chronic illness. I have Family but they do not want anything to do with me. Maybe they feel that they do not want to be stuck taking care of me. With all these problems I would like to write a book telling my story and inspiring people to go on with life.

I think that would make an excellent book. There are others in your situation who feel very much alone. They need to know they are not alone and how others deal with this. My prayers are with you.

If I wrote a book, it be one of the following: a informative book related to dance, an autobiography, or a history-based novel taking place in 19th Century New orleans.

probably a fantasy. i have a couple of them lying around, but they're kind of 'work in progress'. eventually, before i get really old (heheh), i'd like to sift through pile and see what i can come up with. hopefully, i can find something there that's good enough to be seen in print -- umm, that's the plan anyway.

If I were to write a book it would be a medical book about my wife and what she gave up for her handicapped son. He was born with part of his brain missing. She gave up so much. Our marriage suffered, because she made it a point to put her son before herself ALL the Time. We are still together after 14 years. Her son has graduated High School, has held the same job for 8 years, It is a book I see being made into a full lenght movie.

That sounds like an incredible book! I would love to read it. There is so much suffering in the world today and behind the suffering for many there is someone who sacrifices everything for love. Start writing!

It would have to be a fiction story because I don't think I'm very good at writing non-fiction. It would probably fall into the "Chick Lit" category and be something inspiring to women. That is the kind of stuff I like to read so that would be what I would want to put out there for other people.
