Who are Ilocanos here?

Scattered around the globe, Ilocanos are among the large Filipino communities who are active in web forum and the like. I am ilocano!! Wow, there sure are a lot of ilocanos here in mylot. Both my parents are from Abra. I grew up in Manila but when I was young, we went to abra often to visit my grandparents. I know how to speak ilocano. :)

my mother is ilokano so i guess im ilokano too, but i dont understand the dialect, i just know few words,when i was young i want to learn to speak the dialect but my mother refuse to teach me.

then, this is the community that you ought to be a member of.... any language/dialect is accepted, except tagalog. :D come and join us and have fun.

Im not ilocano but im also a pilipino. I have ilocanos friend and they are so very nice to me. Many pilipino said that ilocano is good in money management...

non-ilocanos are also welcome in the community... any dialect is accepted except tagalog :D you may also visit us there. thanks for responding.

Hello g_aileen. Im also an ilocano from ilocos sur. I dont know how to speak ilocano though. I know only a few words. Thanks for sharing that. :)

The members of the sites i have mentioned are ilocanos but they are allowed to communicate in english. Nice meeting you here :)
