It was a decent movie, if not feeling rushed. Though any movie that's based off the first one will feel that way as the script writers are essentially trying to jam a lot of comic history into one two hour long movie. All in all, what would make that two hour long movie would likely take up about(not including the origin in which readers discover how and why the hero came to be which would be 1 or 2 issues in itself) 4 - 6 comics, which would be much more detailed story wise overall.
But in the first movie, they have to not only work the origin in, but pit the hero against the villain. There's just not enough time to fit it all in essentially. It's the same with movies being made based off of books like Stephen King Novels or the Harry Potter series. The movies themselves are good, but all in all, almost anyone who's read the book first will tell you the book is better.

My son and husband liked it - i was kinda freaked out with all the scarey bits in it and was worried my son might have nightmares.. i think it was me that was having nightmares!!! It was worth the money spent!
