Often, when we travel, we will buy souvenir for our family, friend and colleague? What normally do you pick for souvenir? Or do your really buy one as momento?

I love cheesy souvenirs, and I love meaningful, extraordinary souvenirs. I just love shopping for things that you can't really find back home, and having something to always remind you of your experience. What's a trip without lots of photos and a few souvenirs? :o)

Ya, agree with you, photos and souvernir always bring back smile to our memories on the journey that we had made. BTW, I went to Amsterdam and bought a lot cheese back home, I'm crazy about cheese too. I exceeded my luggage quota of 30 kg, but luckily, the airline girl is so pleasant, she let me go off without any extra charges for the extra 18 kg I had.

it depends on the type of place ive visited. if its like Vegas with casinoes i always bring home a shot glass from whatever place we stayed at, i also buy a program for whatever shows we saw. if its a zoo or museum type place i like to get one of the books that show the animals and talk about them.

I never think of the niche place in particular. I normally will buy something to remind me of the place..like fridge magnet or tshirt with the name of the place. Thanks for sharing. You give me some ideas of what to get as souvenir when next time I travel.
