You and me, we get each other. We both write blogs so we share a certain vanity- that need, that desire for everyone to hear our words and share our interests. I respect that. I get it, I’m that way, too.
Please. Stop. With. The. Automatic. Music.
No wait, that didnt sound right. How about-
Please. Stop. With. The. Automatic. Music. Before. I. Murder. You. And. Your. Children.
That has got to be my biggest pet peeve with blogs, myspace profilesa and sites. I’ll be surfing along my merry way, and I’ll be rocking out to Pearl Jam or Rammstein when whammo! Your idea of the best song in the universe comes on and, let me tell you, I am not pleased. If I wanted some "whigga rap" blasting in my ears, I´d go to harlem.
All of a sudden your favorite song is overriding MY favorite song. I have no issues with you sharing a clip of your favorite song- but give me the choice of listening to it or not! I’ll watch your video clip if you don’t make it start before I even get to figure out what it is!
So please, I want to read your site. I want to hear what you have to say- I just don’t want to LITERALLY hear it. Turn that $%#$@!! down.
Now how about you guys, is there something more annoying than auto-playing songs on blogs?

I can't stand blogs that are full of video's that slow down the browser I'm using (sometimes they even crash the damn thing). Many people just post these video's without even making any comment about what it is and why they have even posted it. It really is infuriating when the person can't even be bothered to explain the video and why they thought it was worthy to be posted on their web page.

Deargod, I remember my grandmother having her pc stall every other hour. She has an old celeron pc, only good ebough to check emails, and once in a while there´d be a site like this, and her pc would need to be reset

I couldn't agree with you more julio, the music which begins to blare once you go to a person's profile here on myLot is enough to drive me nuts, and it annoys my husband even more. If my speakers are on, oh all hell breaks loose! I agree people should give us the option to listen to the music and even they do put in song clips why not the mellow ones? There is one friend whose profile I go to often to check for discussions but recently she added a song clip and since then I haven't gone back. I like the song but I can't listen to it all the time I'm on her profile.

i get that when i visit websites for earning money.all the music comes on..i love to sing and i love music and when i make my blog i promise i will have links to my little video productions so you have a choice to listen to them or not..i won't harrass you lol..i do agree with you..
