I love growing plants, espcially cute and lovely plants like this on. Hope you like it? Do you the same kind in your garden?

I live in the desert in the USA. We have cactus all around us. They are beautiful, especially when they bloom. Some of ours are about 35 feet high and are around 150 years old. We have barrel cacutus, and sagorus.

wow thats really very high, what i have here at home are the really tiny ones that could only fit small pots.

That is actually one of my frustrations! I've always wanted to have my own garden at home but the soil there isn't ideal for plant growing. Also, i'm always not at home and nobody will do the gardening if i'm away. So it'll be a waste of time and money if i grow plants in our backyard and yet no one will take care of it. But maybe someday, i'll consider doing that if i already have my own house. =)

Here in my apartment I only grow it on pots, I got the soil from a friend it contains cow dung and its really good for cactus. I only water my cacti once a week, not much care required for this variety. Hope you could start planting cactus instead its not like the other plants that really requires pampering.

ya i too had done it a long time ago.... but... the it is hard to provide that hot climate... how is your cactus growing???????????????

hello soorajs007, they are growing really health. I live in the Philippines and the climate is suitable for these kinds of plants. I only water them very seldom, only when the soil dries up.
