Funny things that happened on your first date..

On my first date with my husband lots of funny things happened. First of all he took me to a local mexican restaurant because he was told it was a quiet romantic place by some friends that thought they were being funny. I didnt mind because I like mexican food, but he was disappointed. The waiter didnt speak very good english, and I ordered a diet coke. The waiter heard the diet and kept bringing my husband diet even though he really wanted tea. He couldnt make him understand for anything. Toward the end, the waiter gave up all semblance of pretending to speak english and reverted to spanish. So, when the bill came, my husband had no clue what was going on and I ended up translating. I could tell he was more than embarrased. We were hitting it off well so decided to go to the park and take a walk. My husband immediately stepped in a mud puddle and splashed mud all over his pants leg. Then we decided to go for ice cream. We were parked outside the local ice cream place getting ready to go in, and a huge burly guy came up and knocked on the vehicle window. He rolled down the window and the guy started screaming about how my husbands vehicle had been parked there for weeks every single night and he was following this guys daughter home from work, and basically stalking her. He was threatening to call the police and everything. At this point my husband was pale as a ghost. The guys daughter came out of the ice cream place and said, no, this wasnt the car or the guy. Then there were many apologies, etc. (Keep in mind this was the first time I had ever met my husband). All in all I look back and laugh about it now. But I am sure my husband was mortified.
