When it comes to your laundry do you prefer TIDE or GAIN?

Aren't they both from Procter & Gamble? I wonder if two products are from the same company if they are almost the same? Gain smells better I think, Tide is pretty good at cleaning-but expensive. I like to use Arm & Hammer, cause then if I don't get the laundry out of the washer right away it won't smell because it has baking soda in it.
